“Outlaw” is a song by American hip-hop artist and actor Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), better known by his stage name 50 Cent. The song was released as the first promotional single from his upcoming fifth studio album (2011). It written by Curtis Jackson, and Carl McCormick, and produced by Cardiak. 50 Cent released the song to the Internet on June 16, 2011, although 50 Cent confirmed through his Twitter account that the song was not the album’s first single. “Outlaw” was officially released as a digital download on July 19, 2011. It debuted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at number 87 on the week ending August 6, 2011.
